Four-time NBA MVP LeBron James’ next NBA chapter will be set on the West Coast. James will be playing for the Los Angeles Lakers on a four-year, $153.3 million contract. He will try to bring the storied franchise another championship. The announcement was made through his agency, Klutch Sports Group, which announced the deal as $154 million. LeBron has changed teams for the third time and leaving Cleveland for the second time.
Cavs after drafting LeBron: 35-47 record (+18)
Heat after signing LeBron: 58-24 record (+11)
Cavs after LeBron’s return: 53-29 (+20)
LeBron immediately gives any team he goes to an average of +16.3 extra wins.
With quick math, that means Lakers could go 51-31 next season pic.twitter.com/neDpVyBnCY

“how do you feel about LeBron James signing w the lakers?”
— Bree (@bryanna_malia) July 2, 2018
If you're a Lakers fan and you're mad that the best player in the world joined your team, are you really a Lakers fan? Your team hasn't made the playoffs in five years. The LeBron hate is that deep? That's sad.

This is actually crazy: LeBron will be coached by LA Lakers coach Luke Walton, who was picked 31 picks after him in the same 2003 draft.

Lance Stephenson, the one who blew in LeBron’s ear during a playoff series and plays like he’s constantly trying to crawl out of his own skin. He and the Lakers agreed to a one-year, $4.5 million deal. Stephenson played in 82 games for the Pacers last season, averaging 9.2 points in 22.6 minutes per game.

Imagine if LeBron passes Kobe in rings and ties Jordan while being in a Lakers uniform. He would be the GOAT forever and Lakers/Kobe fans would feel a lil uneasy.

Only in an Idiocracy would a guy get paid $469,000 per game to bounce a ball around to entertain people, but LeBron James is 'King' to the mentally enslaved masses, and that's exactly what's happening.
for 4 years
82 games a year
= $469,000 per game.

And if adding Lance wasn’t zany enough, Los Angeles also reportedly added JaVale McGee on Sunday. The two-time NBA champion comes over from the Warriors on a one-year deal for the veteran minimum. While this is not quite what most people expected when they assumed LeBron would put together a superteam in L.A., the Lakers are at the very least going to be the most interesting team in the NBA next season. Let’s grade the Stephenson and McGee deals.
