Twitter React to LeBron Returning to Lakers, Agrees to four-year $153.3 Million Deal

Four-time NBA MVP LeBron James’ next NBA chapter will be set on the West Coast. James will be playing for the Los Angeles Lakers on a four-year, $153.3 million contract. He will try to bring the storied franchise another championship. The announcement was made through his agency, Klutch Sports Group, which announced the deal as $154 million. LeBron has changed teams for the third time and leaving Cleveland for the second time.

Lance Stephenson, the one who blew in LeBron’s ear during a playoff series and plays like he’s constantly trying to crawl out of his own skin. He and the Lakers agreed to a one-year, $4.5 million deal. Stephenson played in 82 games for the Pacers last season, averaging 9.2 points in 22.6 minutes per game.

And if adding Lance wasn’t zany enough, Los Angeles also reportedly added JaVale McGee on Sunday. The two-time NBA champion comes over from the Warriors on a one-year deal for the veteran minimum. While this is not quite what most people expected when they assumed LeBron would put together a superteam in L.A., the Lakers are at the very least going to be the most interesting team in the NBA next season. Let’s grade the Stephenson and McGee deals.
