IED Bomb Blast at Indian Restaurant in Canada: Footage of Suspects Released

On Thursday night, two men left an IED bomb inside an Indian restaurant Bombay Bhel in the Canadian town of Mississaugua, fleeing the scene after it blew up, injuring more than a dozen people, according to the police. Authorities said at least 15 victims were taken to area hospitals with injuries, including three who were critically wounded. The police have also released the photos of suspects on Twitter.

Peel Regional Police said in a tweet: “2 suspects attended the scene, detonated an Improvised Explosive Device within the restaurant. Several injured were taken to local hospital and 3 in critical condition were taken to a Toronto Trauma Centre.”

“We’re looking to speak to the individuals seen fleeing the area and looking for the public’s assistance in identifying them,” Peel Regional Police Constable Iryna Yashnyk told media gathered at the scene.
